I started playing guitar at the age of 9. My first influences were Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Guns n Roses. I realized very early on that Music would play a big part of my life. I had lessons from many different teachers, By the time I was 11 I was having three lessons a week. One lesson would be Classical guitar, the second in Rock guitar, the third lesson was music theory.

I started listening to the more technical guitarists Like Tony McAlpine, Greg Howe, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen. Like many other musicians my taste in music and influences grew the older I got, they are still growing now. After I left school I went to Liverpool Music school were I studied Jazz and Popular music. I stated teaching guitar at the age of 17, this was due to many people coming up to me at gigs asking me to teach them. After I finished Music college I taught for a few years and worked in music shops when I wasn't teaching. I also started playing in the studio as a session player for different bands.

I have recently finished my Music Degree which was presented to me by Paul McCartney as I was a student at his Fame school in Liverpool. I am currently studying music with Tom Hess via his Correspondence Guitar Lessons, and am a member of Tom's Music Careers Mentoring Program. In addition, I am Teaching guitar, Recording and Producing music for various bands and magazines (Guitar Techniques), Playing in various bands.

I am now an endorsee for Cort Guitars. They just sent me my guitar. It's really good, it is their top of the range guitar. I'll be playing the trade shows in the UK .

Also I am writing material for my first release, so keep a look out for that Late 2007, Early 2008. My goals are to reach a high standard of playing in different styles and release many Cd's. I would like to thank Tom Hess for his help and guidance. Thanks Bro...................
