Trevor Darmody

Trevor Darmody, musician and teacher, is the founder & director of Flying Fingers, a professional music school in Ireland that provides structured guitar tuition for children and adults. He has over 10 years experience as a guitarist and teacher in acoustic and electric styles. After studying in Tom's Elite Guitar Teacher's Inner Circle program, Trevor's school more than doubled in size, enrolling over 100 new students!!  The school currently has over 400 students and Trevor is in the process of expanding into new programs on piano and ukulele. 

Trevor is currently writing and recording with a group of talented musicians for a compilation CD and is working on an acoustic guitar instructional DVD.

Tom has been a great inspiration to Trevor and since crossing paths with Tom in September 2006, he has made considerable advances in his career. Trevor says: “I am very lucky to have found Tom Hess when I did. I already had a successful teaching career before working with him, but now I am beginning to form a successful music career too! He’s the real deal, and shows great passion through his teaching and through his music. Tom’s da man!!”

Trevor is a big fan of guitar music, in particular heavy/rock metal, and acoustic finger style guitar. He loves Tommy Emmanuel, The Hellecasters, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Opeth, Type O Negative, Garry Moore, David Gilmour, and more.
